Golf Digest rated 4.5 stars! Experience Oak Ford Golf Club's 27 holes of exceptional golf surrounded by an 850 acre wildlife preserve. Golfers can easily be distracted by the abundant Florida wildlife including bobcats, deer, eagles and the occasional black bear. Even the magnificent Florida Panther has been spotted making his way through the woods. Designed by Ron Garl, the three 9-hole courses wind through Live Oak, Myrtle, and Palm Forests skirting ponds, swamps and marshes. Water comes into play 16 times, with 'carries' required on seven occasions. All levels of play are challenged in a mix of doglegs, tight impenetrable woodland borders, and wetland carries. The emphasis here is on skill and finesse over raw power.
