Our 20th year celebration begins early this year for golfers interested in playing competitive golf during the period
January through April.
We've teamed up with the West Florida Amateur Tour and our gift to you is a one-year membership in the WFAT (a $50 value)! Check out the details and the venues below.

- Must have 2012 BSGC or receipt and present at check-in.
- Maximum handicap: 24
- Handicaps are adjusted weekly.
- Need GINN # or Pro's name, club and phone number to confirm handicap.
- If no handicap, golfer may play one tournament to qualify for a handicap. Not eligible for prizes at the first tournament. Call Carl at 941-735-4428 to discuss.
- All start times around 10 am to noon unless otherwise noted.
- Full Handicap Points Quota game (Stableford scoring system) Par 2, Birdie 3, Eagle 4, Bogey 1 & Double Bogey 0
- Fee includes practice balls, green fees and prizes. Payment for entry fee can be in cash, check or credit card.
- Prizes awarded on Gross & Net (eligible for 1 category). 30% of field receive prizes.
- All golfers receive a goody bag.
- Fields are always limited.
- Sign up as a single or with a group.
- Women are welcome (although field will be predominantly men).
- Women play from back ladies' tees - 5,600-5,800 yards.
- Men less than 60 years of age play roughly 6,400 yards. 60 & over can choose to play from 6,000 yards or 6,400 yards.
- Tee times can be found at www.westfloridaamtour.com after 3 pm the day before the event.
- You will receive an automated email with your start time when the times are posted on the website.
- After reservation is made with Big Summer Golf Card office, any changes must be made directly with WFAT by phone 941-735-4428 or by email westfloridaamtour@gmail.com.
- Come early and watch some of the country's finest players in action. Lee Janzen, John Huston, Robert Gamez and Michael Bradley have all competed with the West Florida Golf Tour. Don't worry, they compete in a separate tournament prior to the WFAT event!
